Cleverlytics is a specialized AI and Data Science company, UM6P spinoff, focused on helping businesses and organizations harness the power of Advanced Analytics and AI to solve complex problems. Founded by Walid Daou, a former Head of AI & Analytics at OCP, and Director of School of Computer Sciences at UM6P, Cleverlytics combines cutting-edge research with practical applications, offering services like AI strategy development, custom AI solutions, and executive training.

Our team comprises top-tier PhDs and engineers who specialize in creating AI-driven software and strategies that transform decision-making processes. We work with some of the largest companies in Morocco, including OCP, to solve complex challenges and optimize operations.

Position Overview

Cleverlytics is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist at Cleverlytics, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing AI solutions that help our clients leverage data to enhance their business outcomes. You will work closely with our technical and consulting teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights. Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Algorithm Development: Design, build, and optimize algorithms for predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and other data-driven tasks.
• Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, product managers, and business consultants, to develop and deliver tailored solutions.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects.
